Sonia and Jas Interior Space

I had always wanted  to take some photographs of the space to share with you design trends in India, a country where I feel the field of interior design is truly evolving right before my eyes. Over the past 3 visits to the country, I have seen design stores and art boutiques emerge. While visiting Mumbai, I was able to capture the simple creativity of Sonia and Jasdeep’s place. I  could see how the size of this dining table would be excellent for dinner parties! (We actually had a delicious lunch here:)

You can see how their mix  of modern furnishings and colorful art breath life into the space.

The table is made from salvaged railroad platforms was Jasdeep’s own invention! It is eco-friendly  and the white paint keeps the look modern and clean. I think I see a market for these!

The corner of the patio looks curated and best of all, green! From the tiling behind the T.V. to the low custom console, the space is layered architecturally.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a glimpse into Indian city living!
