Giveaway: Peacock Hair Clip

Ok…so I know I said Wednesday and now it’s almost Friday…but this has been an epic anniversary week and now it’s officially time for my 1 year PinkPianos giveaway!

I am super happy with all the friends I have made hosting this eclectic blog, artists I have interviewed, and restoration projects that I’ve been able to document through this site!

I made similar hair clips when a workshop came up, and now I’m making these for my Etsy shop! If you play along you may win one pre-sale;)

You can enter any or all of these three ways.

1). Leave comment and tell me the main interest you have in this site, whether it be artist features, restoration, travel, interior design or inspiration. Feedback like this motivates me to write for you!

2.) Become a follower of this site through google follower simply click the button on your right to sign-in using your google account. (those with a gmail address are eligible and it is simple from there) OR for those of you who don’t use google you can subscribe by entering your e-mail address in the box in the top right hand column.

3. Heart me on my newly restocked Etsy site!

Each of these actions guarantees you one entry into the giveaway! Winners will be announced the following Friday June 18th…no ifs, ands or buts…I promise:)

There will also be a mystery gift stirred into the mix, sometime next week.

Good Luck!

Textile Designs: Autumn Palette

These are the colors I feel most inspired by this Fall….

Clockwise from top left Cicada Studio , Minxden, Hettle, and Namolio offer subtle textiles and accessories for Fall.

Fabric, Amy Butler, Ruffle Pillow, Linen Pincushion

Yellowish Orange like the leaves…this first textile can be purchased as a fat quarter and turned into something splendorous…if that is a word.

I am gazing upon the softness of those green ruffles by Hettle. This pillow reminds of the JCrew t’s that I loved this summer turned into pillowcases for Fall.  The pincushion by Namolio is perfect in every way. The sherbet pink tones smooth like the autumn sunset. Not to mention it is made from linen, (my latest obsession) and features the tiniest of crochet stitches.

Tomorrow, I plan to  show you what I’ve been stitching for the past week.
